Tips for a Successful Fundraiser for Your School
The best thing about public schools is that parents do not have to pay tuition or buy their books. This helps the parents save money for new school clothes and other hobbies that the child might have. However, this makes it harder on some schools to provide the best resources for their students. In order to raise money for special things they find the need to have fundraisers.
When it comes to fundraisers you want to makes sure that they are fun and will bring people in. In order to do that you need to be creative and not stick with the same old ideas that everyone else is using. A good example of this is the car wash fundraiser. You don’t know how many times I have seen high schools and colleges standing outside on the same weekend trying to bring people in to raise money for their schools.
While this idea is not bad it is overused. Also when it comes to Elementary schools with younger children it is not the best idea. No one wants our young children standing on the side of busy streets.
So no we need to think outside of the box. Which is why we have provided a few simple ideas that work.
